A great place for delicious and high-quality Thai food with generous portions, tasty savory meals, and great customer service. We only ordered take out but they were very nice. It’s now one of our favorite places for takeout.
Used to come here more often. Really like their combo appetizer and grounded chicken with basil leaves over rice. Must try!!!
There are 50 Asian restaurants within a four-block area and I picked the king of mediocrity. It was just Bland. And it was a Thai restaurant. Usually I don't have my food spiced too the hot levels that I like the first time I eat in a place so I can actually taste the food and then season it to my own liking. Pad Thai had all the flavor of fried rice. I noticed on the way out that the Thai restaurant across the street was jammed
Love the yellow curry
Average food and service, interior is more appropriate for sports bar than for cozy restaurant, but opening until 12:30 am makes it be outstanding in the neighborhood
Lackluster environment, bland food, very slow kitchen. :-(
I got chicken pad thai, and it was surprisingly bland. There was almost no sauce- just bland rice noodles, dry chicken and plain chunks of uncooked tofu. Also got chicken yellow curry. Super salty, no onions, kind of greasy (??!) and not a hint of coconut milk flavor to be had. My husband got his favorite stand-by, and ordered it hot, number 3 out of4 heat, and it was HOT, which he liked, so if you want to burn your taste buds off, so you won't notice the blandness, you're going to be happy ☺ My husband went to pick it up, and he said the women who helped him were very nice. Also, the food was piping hot, temperature wise, which is always good. It wasn't gross, but, yeah, just bland.
Initially I was a little put off by the smell of the old building when you come in but as soon as I smelled food being served I knew we made a good choice. We ordered My Aunts Egg Rolls, BBQ Beef w Fried Rice and Lite Noodles w Chicken. Everything was “make my eyes roll” delicious. Portions and flavors were perfect. We will definitely be back! Thank you Paul and Team! Keep up the great work!
I used to eat at TS monthly x years when living on the Peninsula, but haven’t been there x 7 years or so until tonight, now take-out as in Covid dining.Food was always a solid “B” there x years, tonight a “D” or “F.” No taste, meat quality was HORRIBLE, that’s Thai Beef ??? The 1/2 BBQ chicken dinner had no meat, was it a sickly or anorexic chicken? The shrimp small & frozen minutes earlier? Sticky rice & Jasmine rice & cucumber app only things eatable.Yuck !!!
Papaya salad good. Pad Thai had no flavor, no vegetables, no egg, only noodles and a few pieces of tofu. Disappointing.
Horrible! Didn't add the extras we wanted. Such a small portion of curry for the price. And just bland
This spot clearly knows how to please their customers. Regularly with a friendly attitude. The food is affordably priced, constantly tasty and clean.
The service was very unpleasant. It took the waiter 20 min to bring our drinks and 45 min to order our food. I don't think I want to come back again. Lastly, the food was tasteless...
Super good food, amazing service! Get the Korean BBQ...amazeballs...😍😍😍
We weren't sure about having an authentic Thai culinary experience at this place at first because it kind of resembles more of a laid back pub for clueless foreigners, but boy were we surprised. We were slightly disappointed that the sweet and sour rock cod that was on the specials menu that night was deep fried, but the Tom Yum soup really packed a punch and raised some temperature ! The staff are also very friendly, great place for a late supper and hangout.
Ordered pickup. Worst ambiance and service. Server was rude and making faces.
I've eaten the long song for years (with beef) but the lad na is a new favorite. I also suggest the pumpkin curry, fried taro and tom ka soup!Really I've never had anything here I didn't like.
I always receive good service. I love the pumpkin curry.
Pad thai tasted bad and the place smells bad
Nice staff, but lackluster environment (only music is from the kitchen radio), bland food, and very slow kitchen.
OMG!! What a find!! Abso delicious and yummy food
the service is what will be making me return. Beautiful person inside and outside helped us out... can't wait to go back
Was great to come back after not dining out in a while to awesome healthy clean food. We were really happy with our dinner. Nice to know the quality of food stayed the same.
Great place, clean and quiet, spicy is a real thing here, so take your chances, you've been warned, curry is strong in this place.
Very nice place to have a late dinner.. nice server and nice place... i highly recommended....
Just left the restaurant. Spend over 30 minutes waiting for the food, which was just okay (yellow and Penang curries). The waitress was not friendly and kept on ignoring our requests. We even had to wait for 10 min till she finally brought our check. Never coming back to this place again!!!
Green curry and fish dishes were great.
Brightly lit, very comfortable space. Had the pumpkin curry with chicken for lunch. It was tasty and even at mild spiciness, there was a pleasant warming sensation. You can order the "Rice Plate" which is a single serving and comes with rice for one; or you can order dishes "A la cart" which means they will bring them out for family style serving, and I believe the portion size is larger. Good service, food came fast, great for work day lunch.
Crispy chicken over fried rice greatness
Convenient. I enjoy my green curry and pad see ew.
Came here with my friend, who was told they'd cook his order AFTER the group of 20 folks who had arrived at the same time. Yikes!
Love this place! Great for groups, but I do recommended calling in advance to give them the heads up. Curry is on point, Thai tea is the best ratio, and the staff is very friendly. If you're lucky, you'll see the cook come out. My favorites to get here is the garlic and pepper prawns, panang curry, sticky rice and their roti with ice cream. Plus, they're open late so it's perfect for a late night sit down.
The best thai food in town. Love the appetizers. try their Angle wings.
Bad food and worse service, that is if you can get it. Don't waste your time here when there are so many other places within a few feet away that have good food and actually care. They open late so they can unleash their bad food and attitude on more people for longer.
This spot is worth giving a shot. They serve big portions for reasonable rates. Regularly well kept and with awesome mood. Will come visit again.
Great thai....my favirite
Eat here every week and always leave saying that was a great meal
Again, avoid all Thai restaurant if you want authentic Thai food. Have yet to find one that is palatable. Everything is watered down. It's hard swallowing your anger and watered down food at the same time. High risk for aspiration and/or choking!
They have a sign on the door letting people know they were voted the best restaurant or something like that in 1996...which was over 20 years ago. I should have taken that as a warning. I'm giving 2 stars only because the Panang curry wasn't bad (even though it was overly sweet) but the Pad Pet was terrible, way too salty, with a TINY amount of beef.
I got the pad ka prow with chicken requesting medium spiciness and got something flavorless and devoid of spice in return. While there was plenty of chicken in the dish, there was very little basil -- I couldn't taste any chicken or basil but could taste the few mushrooms in the dish. After having perhaps half a serving, I couldn't make myself finish it despite being quite hungry.
just like the other reviewers, chicken pad thai very bland! Red curry did not come with rice, probably because I ordered the pad thai with it and they think I don't need rice, even though this was 2 entrees for 2 people. What am I supposed to do, eat the red curry and ask my friend for some of his pad thai?
Excellent food/price; and pretty waitress!
Good service and food (love it for being open so late) but the chicken fried rice is much too oily. Pad Thai is good though (and the portions are large!).
It's one of those Thai places with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. The service is decent and the food is delicious, with some interesting variants of widely found Thai dishes. The Kee Paw noodles were delicious, if you're an Indian or a spice tolerant person, get a medium spice variant of the entrees. The staff is really nice and friendly. I accidentally forgot my wallet at home and they accommodated me to pay alternatively.
The ribs was just little too sweet...but fried rice on point
Ordered the chicken pad see ew ($12) and garlic shrimp ($15) for take out. Both tasted good but the shells were peeled off but still attached and they definitely weren't edible so I don't understand why the shells were even there to begin with? Really strange and never seen that before anywhere. A bit off-putting but not a huge deal
The food was good, however it took forever for them to bring out....& the service was terrible. It was a Fri. night & there was only 3 or 4 dining in there.... must be a reason there’s not many customers there 🤔😏
Food was very good. Tried satay chicken for the first time. Yum! Now I have to learn to make peanut sauce
Not sure what people are talking about...this was probably the worst Thai food I've ever ate (but we did order delivery so maybe they just make it differently?). We ordered a seafood clay pot and two pad thais,l. All the dishes were so bland, everything looked almost white. I have never seen such unflavored food...especially Thai food.
Very specious place and food is great. Phad Thai and red curry were yummy. Had fried banana with ice cream of your choice. They also stream sport channels.
